HOW TO MAKE CHEESECAKE

1. CRUST

Preheat the oven to 325º Fahrenheit.

Mix cracker crumbs, melted butter and sugar.

Press the crumbs into a springform pan.

Bake the crust for about 6 minutes.

2. FILLING

Mix cream cheese with hand mixer.

Add sugar, vanilla extract & sour cream.

Whisk eggs separately then add to the cream cheese mix.

Pour the filling on top of the crust.

3. BAKE

Pour half an inch of hot water into baking pan

Place the cheesecake (in the water bath) and bake for 60 minutes.

Turn off the oven and allow the cheesecake to sit in the oven for another 5 hours. Don't open the oven.

Refrigerate the cheesecake to firm up overnight. Serve the next day with your favorite toppings.
