Grilled Shrimp Foil Packets

Whether you are camping or cooking at home, these easy grilled shrimp foil packets with fresh corn and potatoes are a quick 30 minute dinner recipe.

For each Packet:

  • 5-7 medium sized shrimp (cooked and peeled)
  • 3-4 small red potatoes
  • 2-3 sliced pieces of corn
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon seasoning (recipe below)

Seasoning Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon opinion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon rosemary


  • Heat the grill to 375 degrees.
  • Poke the small red potatoes once or twice with a fork, then place them in the microwave for about 3-5 minutes. This allows the potatoes to start cooking and will ensure they are fully cooked when you remove them from the grill.
  • Place a long piece of foil on your workstation and fold it in half width-wise.  Add the shrimp, corn, and potatoes to the center of the foil. Add in the butter and  of butter, and then sprinkle about a tablespoon of seasoning overtop. Cover the ingredients with the foil and secure packet loosely.
  • Place on heated grill and cook for about 20 minutes or until heated through and the potatoes test done.
  • Carefully remove from the grill and keep foil wrapped tightly until you are ready to serve.
