Trim the chicken breasts and place them in a zippered bag with 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce.
Place the sealed bag in the refrigerator and marinate for 8 hours or overnight.
Before grilling, wrap each piece of chicken with two slices of bacon, securing with toothpicks.
Place chicken on preheated grill and cook for about 10 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is no longer pink (165º Fahrenheit internal temperature). During the last few minutes of cooking, brush with extra barbecue sauce.
Serve warm.
