These Oven Baked Chicken Strips are coated in a crunchy mix of panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan and seasonings. The chicken bakes up juicy and tender on the inside while the coating stays crispy.
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Place a sheet of parchment on a sheet pan and spray with cooking spray.
Prepare the roasted garlic by cutting the top of the garlic head off and drizzling the top with olive oil. Wrap in a piece of foil and place in the oven for about 30 minutes while you prepare the chicken. 1 head of garlic, 1 tablespoon olive oil
Create the breading station in 3 shallows bowls. In the first bowl, add the flour. In the second, break and whisk the 2 eggs. In the third, add the panko, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, chicken bouillon, Italian season, salt and pepper. Mix until combined. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 2 large eggs, 1 cup panko breadcrumbs, 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Use a paper towel to dry the chicken. Place each chicken strip in the flour, coating it well on all sides. Next, dip into the egg mixture until fully coated. Finally, place the chicken strips into the panko mixture and gently press into the chicken, so the breadcrumbs stick on all sides. Place coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet. 1 pound chicken tenders
Spray the chicken strips with a light coat of cooking spray. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-22 minutes, flipping halfway through. The exterior should be golden brown and the internal temperature needs to reach 165°F. olive oil spray
While the chicken is baking, make the garlic yogurt dip. When the garlic is done roasting, squeeze out the cloves and mix into the Greek yogurt. Add the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to your liking. Serve the dip with the baked chicken strips. 1 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, Salt and pepper
