1loaf of Challah bread
butter and syrup for topping
Preheat waffle maker. (Spray the waffle maker with cooking spray if your style of waffle maker needs it.)
Slice bread into thick slices about an inch thick.
Whisk milk, eggs, cinnamon, and sugar together.
Dunk each slice of bread into mixture and turn the bread to coat.
Allow the bread to slowly soak up egg mixture.
Place onto a preheated waffle maker.
Cook until golden brown.
Remove and repeat with each slice of bread.
These waffles freeze really well. Place in a freezer bag or container and seal well.
To reheat, place slices of French toast waffles in a toaster for a crispy texture, or reheat in a microwave for a softer texture.
