Need a quick, easy breakfast? Here's how to make Instant Pot steel cut oats. Set the Instant Pot and then finish getting ready for the day. You'll have warm, nutritious oats you can top with your favorite berries and nut butters in just about 15 minutes!
Place water and steel cut oats in the Instant Pot.
Give it a stir so that the oats aren't all in one spot.
Place the lid on and turn the knob to sealed.
Hit manual and change the time to 4-6 minutes. (4 minutes will be a chewier texture and 6-8 minutes will be a creamier texture.)
Let pressure release naturally for 10-12 minutes or until the valve drops.
Open the lid. The oats will look really watery. Mix it well and the water will absorb into the oats.
Spoon the oatmeal into bowls and top with your favorite toppings.
