CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAD SMOOTHIE

Smoothies are a perfect option for busy morning breakfasts. You just need to combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend to a smooth consistency. It will hardly take you 10 mins. to prepare such a delicious drink that is nutritious, filling and satisfying!

I really love smoothies. They are so easy to prepare. It has always been a big savior for me for those busy mornings when you really do not have the time to prepare something on the stove. If you choose the right ingredients, you will really find smoothies satisfying. I usually add nuts to them as they are a very good source of essential fats that the body needs for proper functioning. For sugars, I derive them from natural sources such as dates. All in all, I find smoothies one-glass wonder drinks for breakfasts or snacks or after-workout drinks.

Moreover, you can make them into a variety of different colors and flavors. You can make a green smoothie using spinach and avocado or raspberry banana smoothie using fresh raspberries etc. Personally, my favorite is vibrant pink beet banana smoothie. Options are just unlimited.

This is a wonderful combination of flavors. My son is not a huge smoothie fan. However, I think he would really like this. He loves banana bread and chocolate. Who doesn’t like chocolate?! We’ll be trying this for sure. 🙂
