Do you love eating fruits?
If you are not a big fan of eating fresh fruits but would want to eat them for boosting your micronutrient intake, you will love this summer fruit salad. This is one of the ways by which you can enjoy fresh fruits that summer season brings with it!

Personally speaking, I am a very bad fruit eater. Our refrigerator is usually stocked with seasonal fruits but even then I do not even make an attempt to snack on them. Which is why, I go the roundabout way of eating fruits by making some interesting recipes using them. For example, watermelon feta salad, mango lassi, peach lemonade, strawberry detox water etc., etc., to name a few. These are my favorite ways to enjoy fresh fruits.

And, recently I added this mango creamy summer fruit salad into the list. What I love about this salad is its mango flavored creamy base. It really brings a new level of deliciousness into the fruits which I otherwise find boring to eat.

This salad recipe is actually inspired from a fruit custard side dish. The mango custard salad was served as a side during a recent lunch. I loved it so much that I tried it at home by remembering its flavors.

For this salad recipe, you will need very few ingredients. I used fresh strawberries, grapes, apple, and peaches to make the mixed fruit salad. For the creamy base, mix mango pulp with some fresh cream and condensed milk. You can use your choice of favorite fruits.

This salad is very easy to prepare and perfect for hot summer days. Serve it as a snack or dessert or as a side. You can even take it to your neighborhood summer barbecue parties or potluck to please the crowd.

  • 1 apple cut into small pieces
  • 1 1/2 cup grapes
  • 1 peach cut into small pieces
  • 2 cup strawberries cut into quarter


  • 1 cup mango pulp
  • 2 Tablespoons condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream


  • In a small mixing bowl mix mango pulp, heavy cream and condensed milk. Chill in the refrigerator.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine apple, peaches, strawberries and grapes
  • Add the chilled mango cream mixture and mix until well combined.
  • Serve this chilled salad in a dessert glass or bowl.


Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sweetened condensed milk according to your taste Add more mango pulp for a dark mango color and taste
